MAGIC CIRCUIT OF WATER at Parque de la Reserva

AWOSOME DISPLAY OF WATER

Multicolor lights and unique fountains with spectacular water displays -- this is "The Magic Circuit of Water" at the Parque de la Reserva. This complex was built in an area of 180.000 square meters and has a total of 13 amazing fountains. Its construction demanded an investment of about 13 million dollars.
This amazing complex was opened on July 27, 2007 and is located at the Parque de la Reserva, a place considered by locals as the entrance gate of the Touristic attractions in Lima. El Parque de la Reserva was built in 1929, and is considered a Historic Landmark and it was built in honor to the "reservistas" (conservatives) of the Batle of Miraflores.

Located in the traditional Parque de la Reserva, near the limits between Lima Downtown and Lince Districts, the Magic Circuit of water offers two quite different spectacles; it looks wonderful during the day, but it’s absolutely awesome at nights when the lights and the laser shows are on.

This newly revamped park is a pride of Lima's citizens and was brought to live with the display of the 13 unique water fountains. The Parque de la Reserva was inaugurated by the Mr. Luis Castañeda Mayor of Lima's Municipality (May 2007).

The Magic Circuit of the Water Tour is currently the world record holder for the largest fountain complex in the world, consisting of 13 distinct fountains, which not only offer a unique show of light, sounds and jet sprays, but also some of them are specially equipped to interact with visitors, specially children and youngsters that end up completely wet on sunny days.

All of the fountains are lighted at night, many with continuously changing color schemes. It takes a few hours just to go through and look at them all, but it's a lot of fun. The park is open both day and night, but to really take in the beauty of the lights, I would recommed going at night.. the water fountain shows are at : 6:30 pm / 8:00 pm / 9:30 pm / 10:30pm

FANTASY FOUNTAIN  -

The Fantasy Fountain is specially remarkable because it hosts an audiovisual projection based on images related to Peru’s culture and history, displayed on the water curtains with the accompaniment of music and laser lights.

Fuente Laberinto de los Ensueños  (The Maze of Dreams)

Another very visited spot is the Labyrinth of Dreams fountain: the water comes up from the ground in circles and the little ones (and many playful adults too) try running inside and between them. It is thus necessary to interact and play with the water jet sprays. Be aware; these are completely random, so don’t waste time trying to predict when or where will the next one start again. If you decide to play here, you will end up wet no matter what you do… so just relax and enjoy it! After all, you are in vacations!
